If he can afford it and wanted it, good for him. Much like the people that pay hundreds of thousands for cars, I may not get it, but if it makes them happy.
What a waste?
If the guy gets satisfaction out of just owning the bike and riding it very little, then it is not a waste in his book. If he can tie up over 60 thou in a motorcycle then he probably has enough money so that he doesnât care what any one else thinks anyway.

I T Totally Agree! I know people who are proud owners of such a beautiful bike, and I think that is great. Yeah if I was super super super super rich yeah, I would like to have one, they are beautiful and I like all bikes. Hey if super super super super rich I would have one of each. But for now I got the King and I'm as proud of it as my wife is her sporster and evreyone else that has a Harley, be it on the roads and curves, or a garage ornament.
When I bought my bike, it had 770 miles on it, and it was a year old. I paid much less than it would have cost new, and I love it. So, like stated above, think of it like this. One, he will start riding it, and come to appreciate what we do about riding, or two, he will sell it off (probally to one of us), and that new buyer will get a great deal, and hopefully ride it. I would love to own one, they are sweet. But, that would require that I actually start working hard, and I am just not up for that. LOL
