Well I guess I got it right because I took her out last night. Ran great and no check engine light. Thanks for the replies!

Not sure I'd go by that.
It definitely matters, you'd likely find out later, with one fouled plug and the other running white hot.
The Grey and Black connectors coming from the ECM was good advice. Easy to double check.

It'll definitely make a difference. If you've ever looked at a Power Vision tune the VE numbers are different for each cylinder. I'm just now beginning to dig into PV tuning but I think it's because the rear cylinder will burn hotter. I may be wrong about the reason but the numbers are definitely different.

The wiring diagram for 2007 Softail shows front and rear O2 sensors as different color wires on socket (1). And going to different
places on the ECU.

I looked at the wires. All are the same color. When I looked at new sensors they had the same part number front and rear. I'll ride it and keep watch on it. Nothing more I an do. Like I said. I ran her the other night and had no problems or check engine light. If I do end up having a problem I will post it here!

The ECM monitors the exhaust O2 from front and rear cylinders independently. In closed loop mode it adjusts the fuel in each cylinder separately based on the voltage sent by the O2 sensor for that cylinder to maintain the proper AFR of 14.6. If the sensor leads are switched the AFR's will likely be adjusted to the minimum in one cylinder (rich) and to the maximum in the other (lean).

He tuned us out a while ago.

Maybe there’re right, Harley spends money adding random parts, for no reason at all…. Nah 😆
