I just bought a set of 10 inch mini apes from Direct Cycle Parts. By coincidence they're a forum sponsor but that wasn't the reason I bought from them. I've been using them on & off for many years and this time around they had the lowest price for the particular brand and size of bars I wanted to buy.
I was happy with the price and the bars shipped quickly.
I also recently bought a Hogworkz hard bag kit from 58cycles.com for $70 or $80 cheaper than I found elsewhere. I ordered while on vacation and requested via the online comment section that shipping be delayed so that I be home when the bags arrived. They called me to verify my request and the bags arrived at my house the same day that I did. I'd use them again.

Newcastle was awesome to deal with, so bummed they shut down their internet parts sales. Wonder why Surdyke and others are still business as usual? HD looking the other way for bigger dealers?

You’re right, Newcastle was awesome. Their shipping costs were a little high, but their service was top notch.

I don’t know exactly how or why Surdyke and others are still selling online, but my guess is they’re not willing to give up the profits from online parts sales, which I’m sure are a significant boost to their bottom lines.

Edit - I just received information from a reliable source that Surdyke and others have a lawsuit against H-D regarding the ban on internet sales.

surdyke may still be selling online, but it seems like their discount is not as steep as it used to be. i bought a fender from them, msrp was $495, their price was $473. but, i saved a good chunk more with no tax, and no shipping.

Yep. I just placed an order, they have definitely reduced the discount amount that we have enjoyed in the past

I mainly order from MoCo itself and ask that my local dealer be listed as the seller so they get credit for it, or I order it from my dealer. If I can find something new in box from a private seller on eBay, I’ll do it as long as they have a good rep on there and the shipping isn’t insane.
