iron spring clutch cable
Does anyone know the exact function of the iron spring around the clutch cable ? (about 6 inch long)
I guess its for protection, but how should it be mounted? and where exactly?
It slided all the way down against the gearbox, and its just loose sitting there, for some reason it looks like it's not supposed to be this way.
I hear something rattling, (thank god its not from the engine...) gonna search tonight where it comes from, I suspect this spring of it.

How is it supposed to stay at that place? there's at least 1 mm space between the spring and the outside of the cable.
