I always used Favor furniture polish as it was recommended by Ranger boats for my boat, and it worked fantastic on all the bikes too. But, it seems to have disappeared so I use Pledge now. This is only on a lightly dirty ride, so there is no grinding in the dirt.
For some thing readily available, I would second Meguier's. I've used the one that comes in the maroon bottle for years, but I'm sure the GOLD Class is good as well.
For something that's not as readily available I'd go with this:
Wolfgang makes great product, and this is a solid suggestion....ECH2O is another great rinseless wash as well
just a heads up....I went on a trip with a small pile good quality MF cloths and enough ECH2O to get a cleaning done on the road
It felt great to be able to clean off 1500 miles of bugs and crap.....but, in the process, i used 6 microfiber cloths as efficiently as I could.....they were filthy when I was done with them
back into the zip lock bags they went, where that road grime, dirt, and organic bug material fermented in those bags until I got home a few days later
when I opened them up they smelled like death.....they went in the trash, and they were nice and very expensive chinchilla red trimmed cobras....maybe clean them on the road, or something, it was nasty....they go in the wash when I do it at home, i didn't think about sealing them and storing them for days in a hot tour pack
