I used to use Meguiar's spray detailer , then I ran out , didn't feel like going for more so I had this Mothers clay bar kit , used the Mothers show time detailer in that kit , it was noticeably slicker with my buff rag than the Meguiar's was. I've used it ever since to wipe down the bike after rides , scrub bugs off with it too , wet microfiber , then buff with a dry microfiber towel. Once or twice a year I clay bar the whole bike , 8 years old and she still looks great.

Finally grabbed a multi use kitchen cleaner and a lot of rubbing before it came off.
The year sticker on the plate wiped clean? All the numbers and letters wiped right off?
Now it is blank. CO tags in FL. Have to call the CO DMV and see if they can send me a new tag or have to have family
pick one up as I won't be heading back to Denver until next building is complete. (for shop/machine tools)
I use Meguiar's Waterless Wash & Wax in between the regular wash and carnauba wax job.
It has been impressive on black.
When a guy that does high end restoration work asks you what you are using you must be doing something right.
