I toss them out. I’d never buy a used helmet, so ain’t about to sell it.

Check your local ABATE/MRO. Here in NC there are bikers who give safety talks to teen drivers. Cutting helmets in half, and using them to demonstrate the construction, and protection afforded (or not, depending on your opinion)

I love my helmets. Can't seem to help it, I get a bit sentimental over them. Had to use my dad's Simpson when I started as a kid. It didn't fit me for **** of course, but at least the old man was looking out. Old ones hang on the wall in my gear room. To many great memories of bike's and rides gone by to toss them out. Still have the first helmet I could afford on my own dime. Dad passed a couple years ago now. Everytime I look at that wall of helmets, I wish like hell I still had that old Simpson of his.
