I know it's kind of off-topic, but I have the Hayden M6 as well and I love it

It has a robust design, and it looks as though it is designed to bear weight and stress. Do you have any tools or devices that are missing a "foot"?

It does look like an emergency gas cap.
It doesn’t have a skull on it.
I wouldn’t pay 1 cent over msrp.

It's a "foot" from something. Probably sits underneath a threaded rod and looks to be height adjustable to some degree.

Thats the emergency stop button for the motorcycle. It can be used in emergency situations so you don't have to "lay 'er down". I know its an old reference for cross thread points but I don't think there's a statute of limitations on the awarding of points based on age of the referenced thread. But seriously I have no idea what it is but I agree with everyone else...its not from your bike.
