I will hazard a guess that classifieds clipping is out of Grand Rapids Michigan, I recognize the street names. Do you know the newspaper name is it from?
I found a 1915 clipping from the Detroit Free Press mentioning that the Grand Rapids MC held a two-day endurance run of 425 miles in length held on July 31 - Aug 1. Coincidence that July 31 is the date of your classifieds clipping.
