Default Digger frame.

I picked up this frame not too long ago. After doing some research, I'm pretty sure it's a pre-70's digger frame with a gooseneck on it. That wasn't what I was looking to build, so I'm at a loss on where I should really start. Ideas?

I think you could build a really cool bike with that! But,first things first,do you have a title?

Very cool frame. If not what you are looking to build on, lots of the kids these days would likely pay good money for that frame. very desirable in today's market. Good luck.

No, I don't have a tittle. I won't need one because it's pre-70 and the title went with the engine. I can just do a builders title.

I don't live in your country so I am not knowledgeable of the title requirements for motorcycles there, but I have seen many discussions on these forums over the past decade or so. Apparently different states have different rules. If you do not follow them the bike will be confiscated and you may be subject to some prosecution. So it is important to get it right, especially before you have significant money into it.

I have never heard of a "builders" title. Yes, for pre-1970 the title goes with the engine. I expect that you still need the title paper for that engine.

IMO you should check your belief with the motor vehicle license bureau. It is not prudent to go with :general knowledge" or with what "someone says".

Try to find the numbers on the frame somewhere that the aftermarket put on it. You may be able to register that number. Then find a motor....I think Harley started to put frame numbers on around 1965 or 1966
