In the fuel. They use a 2 stroke mix.

Thats fine on a 2 stroke with piston ports and needle bearings but this engine the fuel never sees the crank, cam, rockers etc. It just keeps the pistons from sticking to the cylinders. I think these little engines are cool but the common flaw in every one Ive seen (saw a SOHC V8 last week), they all lack lubrication so it'll be trash sooner than later.

Thats an interesting design for sure but the crank case sees the fuel / air mixture with an additional port feeding the bottom end like a 2 stroke. Pretty smart design. These little engines dont do that though and on the 4 and 8 cylinder engines I've seen taken apart on youtube they are packed with grease under the valve covers and the crank case.
