I was just up there last weekend riding around and it was HOT!!!!! Wife and I still had lots of fun though, it is always fun riding around on those little curvy streets downtown. Definately a neat place for motorcycles!

Have fun
Thanks! We've always had a good time there. Plans are calling for Friday night, and maybe Saturday as well. Who want's to be at home with 3 teenagers and their friends on a Saturday night?!?
Just took my vacation and got back on the 19th. Evo is right it is hot, all we did was stay in the room until it cooled down, or just hung out at the Cathouse all day (Say hello to Alex the blonde bartender, the redheaded kid is the owner's sun, but Alex will treat you right, ask her for the lime juice pick me up), Shawby's was dead and the Roadhouse never even opened all week, something about the crowds not being there that time of the month. We stayed at the Candlewick Inn and got a good deal on a Jacuzzi room, but who needs it when it's this hot out, and the pool felt good but no shade. Have fun, the wife and I are going back down when the leaves start to turn, I'll post then and maybe we can do some riding.
Isn't this the place that had the HA and Bandidos fight a few weeks ago?
Yeppers, same place. Never had any problems there though, pete. Beautiful countryside to ride in. Several neat little bars and restaurants. Used to be a couple of shops there that catered to bikers, but last time we were there, they didn't appear to carry bike stuff.

You are so right about the heat. Temps were averaging 15 above normal. Sorry you had such a bad time of it.
We are staying at the Kettle Campgrounds. Michelle wants to stay in one of their authentic teepees before they do away with them at the end of the season. Pretty cheap rates, 25 + tax. All we have to bring is our air mattress and camp chairs.
Hope to see some members there! I'll give my cell # if there are any takers.
