I used the speaker thing this morning never again. So after thinking on it and talking to my better half I will not be getting a new heritage. I will continue riding my slim. Better half says you are going to retire in 14 months and our furnace and central air needs replaced so that will have to be done first. But I came mighty close to buying that gold color heritage maybe someday I will find a good used one

While I love my 2018 Heritage,
I have seen some nice Slims that were done up pretty nice and set up for comfort and long distance touring.
Other than not have cruise, why are you considering a change?
Same family of bikes. Just a different set up. You can tailor your slim to suit your needs for a lot less than buying a new bike. Get some bags, a windshield and mini apes and it's damn near a heritage. This route you even get to pick the height of bars and shield. Not a bad route to take
When I saw the gold heritage trimmed in black I had one of to I got have. But after serious thought and the better half in put. I still enjoy riding my slim. I already have mini apes that come standard from a newer model street bob and a HD detachable windshield and a swingarm bag. So I will keep riding and enjoying it
Often new and different isn't always better. The trashy blonde next door might look fun, but can she cook? I doubt it. I think you made the right decision, but i hate change, so my opinion is somewhat biased

Funny thing about those trashy blondes next door. They always seem to be bi-polar nut jobs.
