Been there, done that, a few times. When I stop for a break, I remove my helmet and refresh myself. Otherwise, I would wear a hydration system.
When I ride, I ride and don't dick around doing anything else.

I have tried the Neo helmet on before, I wear a RF1200 now, and always felt cramped in the chin area to the point I felt confined by it.

FYI the new 3 has even a more narrower head profile. Say bye bye round headed people and welcome our narrowed headed riders.

It really limits the market on who buys these.

I wear an RF1200. I tried-on a Neotec at my local dealer but for me, it was too massive. I like the RF helmets because they are lightweight and do well in the open wind, with no windshield, which is why sportbike riders like them. Some of the people I ride with wear modulars.

I have a 1200 as well. Do you get any airflow inside the helmet? Even with all vents open, I feel no circulation.

The venting systems on quality helmets are designed for a certain riding position; with the RF-1200 being more of a sportbike helmet model the vents won't work as well for a more upright touring bike riding position.
