I don't enjoy walking around looking at the new Harleys, way to much black. Little to no chrome. I tell this to all the dealers I've been to, they say I'm not the only one that feels this way, but we can only sell what they give us. I've been looking at a new Haitge for 2 years, most are all black. When I do find a chrome one it's not a color I like. I like dark red and a few orange colors. I keep looking for a used 20 or newer in red with chrome locally . I see black ones with chrome but I like that dark red. I'm still looking.
I think you might be referring to the Twisted Cherry? That was in 2019 and a 2-tone version in 20 maybe? You'll have to do some research to verify. Awesome color and I have always had a love for for dark red metallic (not wine however) going all the way back to the Pontiac Trans Am GTA days. That color really pops with chrome.
That said I believe that color was only in the black trim for those years. Again not sure of the years but you could only get chrome in the 107s until like 21 or 22 when they released chrome (fork, bars etc) on the 114? I was personally looking at one to do the black/chrome mix but decided on my 19 in dark green instead. Same thing, black and chrome mix. Honestly it's a nice change from my all chrome 02 Wide Glide. Remember there is always $2k or 3k for a custom paint job LOL Then you could purchase any color assuming it had the right pipes and/or accessories
My CB Hondas I had as kid had chrome fenders on them ...and some accents thrown around (1970's models).... ... Chrome durable AF ..most of mine is newer chrome form 2002-04 but its hung in there & none of it has popped or peeled in the last 22 years ...Gets boogered up good with the bug army down here but cleans up easily.. I too am a chrome hoe !!
That passenger seat carry bag is pretty cool, never seen that before. Anytime Im over night Id just take my road king, but thats a cool way to carry over night.

Saddleman Tail bag ...... Would have loved for it to be leather but no such thing exists...........I stuff enough $hit in it for a 3 day get away. Also acts a nice back support as my seat sinks me down low .....I wanted to put bags on it and it was a PITA plus I have a side mounted plate so I **** canned the idea.
That works well for what it is ..has a ton of pockets inside as well as 3 others.. 2 outside side pouches I keep tools in & 1 on top big pouch.......inside good amount of room.
Carbed bike so I can fix fuel issue on the side of the road. Keep extra Mikuni parts on board. 55k on clock ...only stranded 1x ..TSSM took a **** ..............
Love bug season coming...glad I have chrome is all I will say !! The powder coated black can get messed up with them SOBs ...

Add that to the long list of reasons I like living out west. Unless you're unfortunate enough to find yourself caught in the farm lands of the central valley around dusk when the mayfly swarms are out, you never see bugs like that riding anywhere else all up or down the coast.
OMG That is nice!!! If I were going to have a FB, THAT would absolutely be the the one for sure. Taller bars sure, but everything else is spot on. You even nailed it with the grips. Well done
