Look, the forum is a great place to gather information; there are members here that can give you straight info on just about anything Harley Davidson. Other than the technical stuff the forum posts are like bubble gum, you chew it till the flavor is gone, spit it out and get a new piece of gum.
worlds largest harely rider forumn, people of every backgroundand walk of life across the planet. what exactly did you expect???
if I may say its seems you've had a bumpy ride here so far Urban. this forum is not perfect nor claims such. not sayin it hasn't happened but I think it rarethat "negativity" is fosteredwithout cause. the mods and admin serve this place right. I'm sure no one is"forcing" you tosign in and participate. [sm=lame.gif]

There is lots of basic information and helpful advice here on HDForums, but there is also a side to it where much of it is a poor attitude to anything or anyone who isn't 100% Harley Davidson, rides a metric, comments on what people ride, drive, or wear, calling people cagers, RUBs, wanna-be's because they don't fit the "real biker image" to some of the standards of certain Harley owners.
Some here even badmouth Harley Davidson for not being the same company they were years ago.
I may badmouth unsafe sportbike riders, but that is because they pose a danger to everyone, not just to themselves, but I could care less what type or brand of bike they have. If a guy wants a Yamaha that looks like a Harley then all the power to him for just wanting to own and enjoy a motorcycle. If some rich guy buys the most expensive bike there is and never rides it, then why should it matter to you? Jealous?
Why should it matter what brand of t-shirt someone wears or if people wear patches and pins on their jackets? Let's set our standards a bit more higher and with something much more important.
Basically, there are some here with certain opinions and standards which actually kill the joy of owning a motorcycle, PERIOD, and are the true posers.
For those who gave me advice and help, I do thank you and fully appreciate it, but I may have to look for a different motorcycle forum or just enjoy the ride on my own.
Who died and made you queen? You stand up and declare "there IS TOO MUCH..." blow it out yer rear end man.
If you can't take some razzing and different opinions, you need to grow some thicker skin.
If you can't afford a genuine HD, or custom based off an HD... but want to be part of the HD crowd... guess what? Get a second job and earn it.
A soother may be in order. I think it may alleviate your problem.
