Passive security system 2011 Forty-Eight
Hey people, is there an easy way to disengage security system on an older Harley without taking it to them? Every time i take the thing to Trev Deeley it comes back with a different issue likely because some not quite certified Harley Davidson technician worked on it. $$$. So I was stopped and hanging on for dear life so she didn't fall over, got back upright drove around the block, and an hour and a half later the lights flashing and wouldn't start. Killed the battery in six tries to start when security mysteriously disengaged by itself and then re-engaged after battery wouldn't quite turn over after those six tries. Ended up boosting it. Fob has good battery and no other fob around. Has anyone else had this experience? I moved fob out of range and back, no one touched the bike.
