TwoHaulers,

Have you changed your mind on the bike you want? Are you close to getting one?

Thought I wanted a Night Train, bought a RK Custom... Never looked back

Always wanted a bike - it had to be chrome and black - 7years ago, saw a chrome and black LowRyder and that was it - made a deal with the wife, bought her a new car, lost over 100lbs, ordered the Lowryder. Waiting list over a year[:@]
Two weeks before delivery of the bike, my finacial situation takes a dump - canceled bike

4 years go by - wife calls me and mentions a sporster comercial she heard "$6400.00 - we can afforad that, it's not the one you wanted, but it is a bike"

I'm stunded - but not elated - I go look - WOW - what a differance 5 years made - ordered a chrome and Black 1200c - made a deal for the "wifes sales recipt" to show less than 7500.00 (cash does funny things) - I had the real one.

Lifes dream came true - could not be happier - and in my excitment, forgot which recipt to show wife - she chokes - laughes - I pay off bike 3 weeks later.

the 05 was a fluke and gave me a little heartache, the MoCo set that right, I now have an '06 and a five mile wide grin

After totally my 2001 Roadking classic I was gonna get the new Roadking custom. Went to the dealer had it all picked out. Black and beautiful. They had her all cleaned and put out front for me when I arrived. I was walking through the dealership to sign the paper work when out of nowhere I spotted her across the show room floor. She was begging me to ride her. At first i just looked and liked what I saw. But I already had a date with my new beauty in front of the store. Finally she reached out and just begged me to take her home. I mounted her right there in the showroom and she jusr felt right between my legs. I had to have her forever. That is how I brought home my 2005 Lava Red Deluxe

I went into the dealership with my heart set on a black EG Standard. I left with a white Ultra, on which I have spent a ton of money turning into a Standard

Steve,

You did good, trust me. That thing looks good, and I have followed you far enough to know that it will run.

Regards,

Bill

For me it was a 1200C. Made perfect sense - I always loved Sportsters, it looked good, price was reasonable. It would fit the riding that I thought I'd be doing. Did I mention that the price was reasonable?

"Oh...whats that blue bike over there...that long, lean looking one with all that chrome? Deuce, you say?"

I went to the dealership with my heart set on a Std, lusted over the Classic, bought the standard, and have dumped a bunch of money into trying to make it a Classic

Rode Jap bikes for years swearing "someday" I'd get the elusive hog. Did the research, test rode, and was convinced the Wide Glide was the one. Sticker shock gave me initial pause. That was just enough time to say the same thing Jezcruzen said, "Oh...whats that blue bike over there..." The first alternate was a Softail Std. The next one was a Deuce in Black Cherry. Oh, and the Chopper Blue Springer. Crap, which bike did I come in here for?

Oh yeah, the 1200C.

And after one ride with the wife, she wants her own too. So the cycle starts all over again; pardon the pun.

When I first saw a Springer, I knew that was the bike that I wanted. I looked on the HD website and in bike mags and I kept coming back to the Springer. When I went into the dealership and saw one in person and sat on it, I knew that it was the one that I wanted. When I finally went in this year and bought it, I didn't hesitate a bit, I just told the dealer that was what I wanted and he got it for me. I tend to focus on one thing and stick with it until I eventually get it, I guess that I am just different. By the way, are you getting a different bike than planned? Thanks

I wanted a Fat Boy for years...my wife finally say's 'OK'....I went into a shop to buy one and promptly fell in love with a Springer Classic...two days later I bought a Road King Classic.

Makes perfect sense. [sm=alcoholic.gif]
