I'll admit I'm not picky enough to care about minor flaws or shipping dings I'll never see once installed.
(No knock on others that may demand perfect)
Just me, If minor (that 's why I'd like to see pics} it wouldn't be worth the time/hassle to go about shipping it back
I contacted Hogworkz. If they offer a discount, I will keep and touch them up. If not, I'm asking for an exchange.
It's just a pain in the azz to deal with shipping and parts these days. It seems that half the time its the shippers drop kicking boxes in the warehouse and sticking a fork lift into boxes, or parts shipped out with crappy quality control.

..L.T.A
It's not really the defect that bothers me as they wont be seen. Its just an entry point for rust. And touching up chrome seems iffy to me long term.
We need to stop accepting substandard **** with zero quality control.
Yep I hear you. Hogworkz stepped up immediately, so happy there. I tried to return a saddleman seat where padding was failing. They want 20 pics, receipts, etc... their form sucks. Very unfriendly process... its clear they make it a pain in the azz for returns. I ordered the seat online (couldnt remember where, no reciept as email was deleted after 90 days) .. just gave up.
Much better than my recent experience buying boat parts... I wasn't happy with the fit and finish of one of the grab handles I ordered. Called the place (after sending an email with pictures, and getting a short "call monday" replay) and boy the guy was unapologetic about the situation, rude but did try to make it right by sending me out a new and told me to "toss it in the garbage can" since I was unhappy with it... only for the replacement to arrive looking even worse that the original one I was unhappy with. I think that was his idea of a little joke. Anyway, I'm telling anybody who will listen about WJR customs.
