Default New Bike

A while back I posted about looking at a Soft Tail Standard with 16 miles on it. I decided to pass on it due to the shady situation of the tank being repainted and the dealer bought it form an auction. Well, I made up for it today. I bought this. It will be delivered on Wednesday or Thursday. I live in Wisconsin and there is 1/2" of salt on the road and I ain't riding it 1 1/2 hours down the highway at 8 degrees. Let them get their trailer all dirty, right? I already have a list of parts made out so let the mods begin! I think it will fit in nicely with the Road Glide, Sporty, V-65 Magna and the VMax. I even got a free t-shirt and cruise control that I have to install.

Nice, I bet with the 114 engine it will have plenty get up and go!

Probably will be needing to replace the rear tire sooner than later when riding season begins.

Recommend away! Looking for forward controls to start with. Mufflers would be nice. Reflectors gotta go. I have Custom Dynamics Rings for front and the rear signals. Probably going to replace or powder coat the push rod tubes and blocks. At least getting the push rods out will be easy enough. I'm not going to cut them. Power adders will have to wait until I can at least ride it. That will be the worst wait ever. 3-4 months before roads are clear here in Wisconsin. Any recommendations are appreciated! Time to check out the Soft Tails section.

Forwards, keep the dual exhaust style, shorty rear fender kit, led signals, remove the passenger pegs. flip mirrors under bars. Ignore my thoughts as needed. Would enjoy seeing your progress. She will be a beauty.

Passenger pegs will be removed. I also like the look of the dual exhaust. Just looking for slip on. I don't know what they were thinking with that reflector stuck to the rear fender.

I like the Tab mediums. Good sound, reasonable cost, reuse of oem heat shields.
