I was offered 12K for a 2023 Lowrider ST with 2K in upgrades and 20 miles on the bike because of back issues , this happened 2 weeks ago I told them I would let it sit in the basement and let the tires rot before I gave it away and by the way I have bought 4 bikes new from this HD Dealer

Wow, what was the bike new, 22-23K? Thats almost insulting.
I bought my 2022 Road Glide Limited in April with some good stuff done to it for $19.5k, 4100 miles on the odometer. Went to Manchester HD, 2024 Road Glide Limited, literally the same bike, new $34k plus markups. They would not budge off of MSRP. In February at Daytona HD they wanted $39k for the same 2024 RGL, I walked away from them. They chased me, asked what it would take to talk, I said get to $30k and we can talk. They would not come down off MSRP for a one year old bike. Dealerships think new bikes are made of gold, even the left overs.
Deals are out there, just need to know what you are looking at.
i thought 24's went up in price ? Are the street glides/road glides reduced in 24?
The 2024 touring bikes were lowered in some cases by $3000 or more. The most expensive RG/SG last year was $29k except the CVO. They did raise them back up a little for 2025 though partially due to the trade values and partially due to lower than expected sales volume.
In general limiteds aren't selling at the volume that they used to, instead everyone is buying road glides which also doesn't help the trade value. We have a 2023 anniversary in stock that has now been here for 6 months with no serious offers on it. Soft tails are still selling pretty well.
Markets shift over time. It's all supply and demand. Of course, the dealer would mark up your trade in by $3-$4K and add bullshit fees to rip off the next buyer
