2002 Palm Springs CA bike weekend. I was on my (fake) 2001 Indian. Parked next to a vintage super clean (real) 1932 Indian three. The rider was a 93 year old who purchased the bike new. He stated he rides every day it is not raining. Then he said "that's not a real Indian, I just agreed.

That's a good deal on the ultra. I just sold mine 2003 black and silver 24,000 MI 6 grand.I stopped riding it after I bought my lowrider St. I also have a 2002 Dyna. I hope you can return to riding. My opinion get a much lighter bike. Like previously mentioned the dynas will work great. A Sportster is also something to look at. They are light and you can lower them. When the dreaded day comes that I can't hold up my Harleys I will probably get a 400 cc little bike. I'm 64 and plan on riding the St from Florida to Sturgis next year.

68 in December, don't know how many years I have left.
I figure as long as I can get it off the stand and backed out of garage I'll ride

KTF
Basically, the hand-numbing was a coincidence on that mountain. But because of the extreme steep roads mixed with sharp, blind turns my hand was constant on the clutch and, of course on the throttle for most of the entire time. No break. Honestly it made the "Dragon" roads seem like beginner courses.

In fact there was a newer Vette behind me for a few minutes at the beginning. I was able to glance back for a moment and saw him backing back down. The roads were that intense. Believe me, taking that shortcut was not my choice and our leader didn't know how bad it was.

Again, my point is it's one thing to power through a difficult situation. Crazy roads, tight parking lots etc. But when your balance, strength or other body "parts" begin to be a factor on a continuing basis, your body is trying to tell you something and it's time to listen.

Well, I just could not stand opening my garage door and NOT seeing a motorcycle sitting there waiting for me, so when I came across a mint condition 2007 Sportster XL50 Anniversary bike, I just had to have it. I probably won't ride it far or often, but hey, I just had to get back on two wheels again! Not having a motorcycle was driving me crazy.

Congratulation, matches the lawn mower. Yep, I can't imagine not having a motorcycle either.
The last time I didn't have a motorcycle was the day before my 17th birthday (parents wouldn't let me get one until then) - 50 years ago.
Let's hope you can ride it more than the lawn mower.

That's a good looking Sporty.
I have the same mower as you - Wish I had that Sportster sitting next to mime. Sharp bike, good find.

I’m looking into this scooter for getting back and forth to my clubhouse/ pool club instead of a golf cart . Why , because I can put a plate on it and Then both myself and the wife can use it as needed . It’s definitely 100% roadworthy great on gas and will still Produce adequate wind Therapy.
And the wife said she does like it .

I know exactly how you feel. Two years ago I gave up riding and sold my ultra classic. Six months later I bought my Road King. I may only ride 3,000 -5,000 miles a year now but I had to get back on two wheels.
