...... for me. Just sold my motorcycle and am hanging my helmet up for good. Turned 74 in June and my back and balance says it's time. Haven't been without a motorcycle for 58 years, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do without riding. Motorcycles have been my passion.
Are there any ATV trails in your area? That might be an alternative if your back can take it.
Maybe buy a piece of land and work on it, doing low effort stuff?

Sorry my friend. Advancing in age sure isnt something Im racing too.. My fall back hobbies are Guitar, Tequila/Scotch & Records. There most be something else in your life you enjoy?
I spin records about an hour an evening. Sometimes like in this picture I turn the TV on without sound with band live performances.. or Vintage motorcycle racing.
I feel for you. I finally came to the same conclusion last Spring. Pretty much had a ride since 67 and physical stuff hit at 74. I kept thinking stuff would improve, lol. I will be honest with you--I didn't think it would be so hard for me. Gotta do the big gear sell off. Good luck.
My Father-in-Law went trike about 5 years ago, at about age 74. He couldn't do two wheels due to all the reasons. He got 5 more years of riding including a couple of decent long trips and one more time to Sturgis. I think he may be done now, just turned 80 and fell and broke the hip. Time will tell, I hope he is riding again for Daytona, but right now things are a bit grim.
But again, the trike did get him 5 more years, worth a shot. As he would say, better than a Prius, good luck.
Hope that don't happen to me. Just did about 200 miles today with some friends I'm the young guy 78, few guys went to 3 wheels and are loving it. By the way my back is killing me now but nothing some JD won't fix. Go test ride one.
