Old age sucks. It is so bad that you have to leave your passion. True sad day. Can't imagine when my turn. will come. Good luck to yoy, I,m sure you have lots of biker memmories....
Much respect for you in recognizing this and making the hard decision. Much better this way then pushing it and becoming a statistic. You'll find a different passion. Best of luck to you Sir.
...... for me. Just sold my motorcycle and am hanging my helmet up for good. Turned 74 in June and my back and balance says it's time. Haven't been without a motorcycle for 58 years, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do without riding. Motorcycles have been my passion.
We all get there eventually.
Next April 3 Im retired for the second and final time in my life and 9 days later I turn 64.
My Wife gave up riding on a regular basis about 2 years ago but I still have the bug.
Fortunately for me my health is good and I have both a 2 and 3 wheel option so I hope to get another 10 years of wind in my face.
Good luck Brother, Im hope you find another passion.
Side car is the way when I get there. I saw a nice hack on the Bay last month that would look nice on my Shovel. If I had a place to store it while I wait for the time I need it..................
