How many of you have lusted after a motorcycle but couldn't find it or afford it at the time.
I've been riding over 40 years and there's been a few that I seen and said some day I'll own one.
I currently own 3 such bikes. An 82 FXRS, shovel fxr 👍: a 1986 Softail Custom, blue and silver with factory color matched frame 👍: And Tuesday I picked up a 2000 Screamin Eagle Road Glide with black and orange screaming chicken paint 👍.
My last bucket list bike is a 65 Panhead, year I was born.
Wow, I've never seen that paint scheme on the third bike, stunning. But, I'd have to say the FX shovel is my favorite.
As for me, I'm on the lookout for a nice 1977 Yamaha RD400, the old "pocket rocket" I rode in college. Preferably with rearsets, chambers, and clubman bars.

When they came out with the SHRINE bikes for Firefighters and Police in 2002, I fell in love with the Firefighter Special Edition. (Im a retired FF)
Dreamed of one day owning one.
One day in late 2012 I saw one advertised locally for a 2007 model from a city firefighter that couldn't ride anymore.
Only had 12k miles on it.
Was drooling over it for a few months and the stars aligned in early 2013.
Got the cash together and called him, set up a meet and I rented a uhaul truck, brought home my Aphrodite II and have put another 55k miles on it, still runs like a top with MANY changes.
But I doubt I'll ever get another bike.
She's a money pit, but aren't they all............
Have had my trifecta of bikes and almost had the 3 together at once, but I traded two for one.
98 Wide Glide - Evo which was hotrod when I I got it. Blue.
01 Road King - twinkie which also was bumped up, a buddies bike that didnt ride it, 6 speed. White and classic with leather saddles not the plastic ones.
20 Road Glide Special, current bike - 114 bone stock with 45k plus and going strong.
Ever since they came out ,I’ve lusted after an FLSTSC. Any color combination. I know they don’t handle quite as well as hydraulic forked bike, but I just love that look. Also ANY knuckle. The springer would get the look with more modern drivetrain. I had a 1980 FXWG that I wish I hadn’t sold. Someday…
The decal on the Screaming Chicken Saddlebag is Rat Fink of Ed Roth fame.
.
Yep Rat Fink on the saddle bag and there's a rubber one of them riding on the antennae.
Previous owner became a fan after a night of drinking with Roth in a dive bar one night.
