Used to be Sunday found me & some buds on the 3rd floor. 4 TVs all w/ sunday ticket. We watched nothing but game. All of them. No commercials, halftime shows. Football was priority #1.
I fished offshore in those days. Missed a lot of good trips because of football. Since I got the new bike, gave it all up. Sunday ticket, pools, fantasy .... everything.
Even here in south jersey I can usualy ride middays through till almost Christmas before weather (rain/snow) gets in theway. It's not that I stopped liking football. Just that It was an all or nothing thing with me. So nowif anything I flip by the local game on the radio while I'm ridding & check the score, but that's about it.

I have 3 little kids that cantake up alot of time.When I get the chance to getdo something watching tv wont be very high on the list.That said Im with the kids alone today while the wifes at work, then I go to work so Ill be watching some football today.

I TiVo all the showsI watch. That way I can fast forward the commercials. But, when the Boys are on, I watch the game. Since I am not drinking these days, going out for a little ride after, or before, works just fine. What I love most about football season is the wife knows that no honey-do's will be done on Sunday. She doesn't even ask anymore. My Saturday's are a lot busier, though, but so long as she caters to me on Sunday, I will do anything on Saturday. Being that the boys play late tomorrow night, she asked if we can go out in the day. Nope, football season. LOL Man, she hates football. LOL

My wife even goes so far as to tell everyone else to leave me alone on Sundays. If her friends or parents call for something on Sunday she just tells them uhh it's football season he's not going anywhere I usually just get up early and go for a ride before the games start.GO COWBOYS

I'm a Browns fan, shut up,I know they suck, but on Sundays I'll ride.However on Saturdays I'm all over college football.I'm glad it rained yesterday
