Congratulations on the new ride, and getting it early.
I had an encounter with a mechanic for Buddy Stubbs named Larry Chipley the last summer.
If he is an example of the employees there, it must be a really good dealership. He was a super guy, and helped us out on the road.
If you run into him, tell him that the people he helped with the sidecar on the road between Wickenburg and Prescott really appreciate him stopping.
Regards,
Bill
I'll do that Bill! These guys have been putting up with my for over 6 months now. Funny thing is, they all know my wife and me now. So far I had nothing but good things happen to me there. But I will keep a running report card for you guys. (I do hope you don't get sick of me )
As for the questions of getting sleep... I think it is going to be a long week. <Twitch, Twitch>
Firehawk...what model and color did you order? I just called David at Stubbs today, also...on the deep cobalt ultra that I had put a deposit on. It was supposed to ship on 12/6. I just happened to look at their inventory on the internet last night and saw one listed. When I called, he said that was mine and he was planning on calling me on Monday. Mine was also supposed to be ready mid-week. Having the stage 1, tuner and SE slip-ons put on prior to delivery.
TWO guys getting new bikes in the middle of the week. Two businesses that oughta just count 'em as gone for this week!! Congrats guys, anticipation will keep ya shaking, but the ride will cure all ills...

Rest easy, it is a vivid black Ultra. No stage I or tuner. Lots of flame bling and the glow package (glow lights on engine and around the saddle bags)
I'll be keeping an eye out for ya and give you a big wave!
BikerInTheDesert - true, true. I'll have to have my old school teacher standying by me with a ruler to smack me with.

Firehawk...no concern; just wondering on model and color. Thought it a curious coincidence that both of us on this forum would be picking up a new bike in same week from Stubbs. Will also look around when I pick mine up on Wed. Best of luck with it!!!

Whoops! I have to retract something. I do have a race tuner on it. It's for the exhust system I'm having installed. I know this because those puppies are backed ordered. But it should be here on Tues or Weds. I'll still pick her up on Friday.
BTW; cmorris48, the twitching is getting worse! And it was very hard to concentrate on work today.
If you find your co-workers start staring at you as you twitch, just mumble "the penguins...the penguins are..." and twitch some more. Everybody will leave you alone. Works every time for me.
