Gosh read the entire thread - good input. At 70 I always wore fingerless for years in Fl. Dumb of me I guess. Now in NC will shop from some fingers. Thanks for sharing options.

That was a joke between rains2much and I based on a comment he made on my EVO build thread. Calm down and move on.

Call me a glove ***** but I have a whole box full of gloves that I rotate constanly.

I have to say that my favorite pair is the Sitka leather gloves. A bit pricy, warm enough with heated grips to "OMG its cold", and tactile such that you can use the controls.

colder then that I go with the Gerbings heated gloves. A bit too bulky for my liking but warmth trumps dexterity when it is freezing.

Warmer weather I like a long narrow cuff glove such that I can tuck it under my jacket and eliminate drafts. Got a pair of amazon, padded palms, reach 3/4 to my elbows, and fit under my jacket although with a bit of manipulations. My knuckles get cool when it is 40 degrees when I should have been using the sitka's but hindsight is always 20 20.

Regards,
Crankster

[QUOTE=Rains2much;22264006]Feet are always a sore subject for me (Pun probably intended.) All you normal folk out there that represent the majority of foot size normality.. The world is your oyster.. you can actually look on line and choose foot ware in all designs and price points..grrrrr.

I wear what can be found. It’s never what I like, it’s what I can find. I wear a 13 EEEEE shoe. It doesn’t matter if it says “extra wide” or 3E.. it won’t fit. Custom made shoes are available at very high prices but even then it’s limited to just a very few basic shoe designs… and ones specifically made for riding? Good luck.

I have no choice but to make compromises. Currently I have a pair of Dr. Comfort all leather above the ankle laced hiking style boots, and a pair of Ortho feet black laced hiking boots that are above the ankle. Neither are slip resistant. Neither are armored. Best I can
