Sad, all the old classics passing into the night...
OaS was/is one of the best movies on the spirit of motorcycling...imo I'm sure on how many of us started out.
I still watch in every now and then...

Unfortunately, the name Mert Lawwill was unfamiliar to me, and I have since read quite a bit about
him.
Very impressive, as I harbor a bit of a passion for the old XR Racing models: beautiful and
timelessly unique motorcycles!

Thanks for all the info....I never saw the movie until yesterday after reading about it here.
Just an FYI....IF you want to watch it for free, install the app "KANOPY". It's a nationwide public library site that allows you to "check out" via streaming tons of movies. Best of all it's 100% free. All you need to register to the "KANOPY" app is your library card....(remember that?...lol)
