I'm seriously thinking about going, especially since it's right down the road from me (literally!) It depends on how much work I get done between now and Sunday morning...
Well, so much for me going tomorrow. I'm stuck in Broward for another day. Long story short, my dogs were at the vets for their annual checkup while I was here for a few errands/appts myself. The idiot kid at the vet let the dogs out in the fenced in yard without a leash (against the rules) and my dogs, who are Shiba Inu's, aka escape artists, escaped. All Three of them running loose in the Hollywood Blvd/441/turnpike area.
Long story short, 1st dog was found immediately. Dog #2 was found 3 hrs later at McArthur HS (don't ask me how she crossed Hollywood/Pines Blvd. on a busy Sat afternoon without getting killed), Dog #4 was found 9:30 pm after the search was nearly called off for the day and I went back to Margate/Coral Springs then get a call from the Vet at 8:30 pm that he saw the dog at the Duty Free America's parking lot (on the other side of the turnpike ramp, how the heck did she do that without getting killed!?). I hopped in the car and went back, we caught her and now all 3 dogs are back at the vet's office in their kennel.
I'm thoroughly exhausted and emotionally drained from riding around for 8 hours looking for little brown dogs. Knowing the dogs are safe, the vet and I are still on good terms, and once the 2nd southern comfort I'm drinking kicks in I'm sure I won't care much...
Gotta watch them dogs they love roaming, mine cost me $3k in 1 year in fines, the town threatened to charge me criminally. He got cancer and slowed down soon after that, man I miss him. Glad everything worked out for ya Fla girl.
