Yeah, having seen pics of you and your wife, I figure Mrs. MJ and I are pretty similar in total weight. Plus we both tour long distance and probably carry similar cargo weight as well. I've had 2 different Ohlins over the years, but I am wanting to try something different this time. I hear good things about the ProActions from some long time members that really talk highly of them. @Cosmic Razorback being one of them. And hearing that their customer service is top notch helps. Overall, I'm kind of in the mindset that ANY of these shocks work better with a little added weight on them, so Imma gonna go get some more cheesecake right now, lol......

Anytime you get a shock or a fork rebuilt with fresh fluids it’s going to change the dynamics of that suspension for sure. i have struggled with this before. My 14” Pro Actions are getting better as time goes because they are actually getting worse in a way. Older fluids makes for a softer ride.
