Hey all. My fiancé just bought a 2018 FXBB with 1,250 miles on it. Maybe this is a dumb question, but is there any way to tell if the 1,000 mile service was performed on it? We picked up the bike from a car dealership that doesn’t deal with motorcycles much so they weren’t much help with the history. I’m trying to avoid paying the local HD dealership for another service if possible. Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Try going to your local dealer with the VIN number and he could plug it in to the HD system and see the service history.
the only benefit i see with the dealer servicing the first 1K, is they know how the bike was delivered, and possibly any fasteners not listed on the 1K service sheet.
that said, change you fluids and check all fasteners, clearances, and just take a real hard look at everything...touch every part.
