I asked at the dealer yesterday and they said it could be another 3 months for power commander. I dont know about the others yet. I am waiting to upgrade my 08 ultra.
I purchased the V&H FuelPak for my 2008 Dyna Lowrider. They have a map for the 2008 Dynas. It's the same settings as for the 2007 Dynas. The bike runs fine.
A product that I belive has hope, the TVII is also a ways out. Terry Component's sales person told me on the phone the other day that the Terminal Velocity II would be ready at the end of Nov.
And the solution that I want...the DTT is questionable as well. Alan @ Daytona Twin Tech told me that it would be "awhile". He said that the connector that HD changed on the ECU is a problem and causing them problems.
This just validates what I already was starting to suspect...HD is trying to screw the aftermarket business! Why?javascript:void(opener.AddText('[sm/=boosign.gif]'));%20self.focus();
I'm at a loss to find a solution to the 08 Stock EFI issues? It's like one step foward and three steps back! By the time my bike arrives in November there could be some positive movement for a shipping solution, but I doubt it. Guessing I'll suffer in stock running trim until the dust settles.
I'm a tad dissapointed that HD isn't interested in encourging awesome aftermarket solutions on their bikes.
