Default Brrrrrrrrrrrr...

I left the house at about 0800 this morning riding the scoot to take it over to my local independant shop to have the 5K service done. MAN WAS IT COLD! It was 27 degrees. Leathers, full-face helmet, full-fingered gauntlets and Warrington Pro leather boots worked to keep most of the chill off. Glad I didn't have to wear a kilt! [&:] Brrrrrrr.....

Jeez, now I've got the picture of you in a kilt in my mind and I can't get rid of it. Whoa. Anyway, yeah, its cold here too. And wet. Nothing worse. I feel for you.

nothin' personal - but don't think I'd want to see you ridin' in a kilt any time of year!! Cold here in Bellevue, WA - it's snowing again outside right now with promises of up to 4 inches where I live- haven't been riding for over a week and the chances of doing so within the next are slim to none.

Annie--

I rode to the HOG meeting in Bellevue last night -- it was clear, 37 deg and and a fairly pleasant ride. Hopefully this wet snow is short lived.

well, today I left work at 2pm to go home - it is 10 miles one way. Got about 3/4 mile from home and the snow was about 3 inches and Im looking at going from 500 ft elevation to 1,200...had to put the jeep in 1st and put the 4wd in low - and I STILL barely made it up my hill to the house - was reving at abou5 3500/4000 rpms - struggling to inch my way up that hill. And no, don't have snow tires. Ended up having to shovel the driveway to get into the garage. So, bottom line - glad I drove the jeep and not the scoot!

I bet you wish you had taken it there yesterday when it was between 65-70 degrees!!! Your right it was cold here this morning. The weather here has been like a roller coaster and I imagine we're all gonna end up sick. Last week freezing, this week wet, wet, wet, rivers overflowing, then warm, then cold!! I just wish the weather would make up its mind. Then I wouldn't have to keep boxing my warm weather stuff up and then pulling them back out again!!!

I already feel a cold coming on.[:@]

Kilt....hmmmmm.....now that would have been a sight to see. Probably best you didn't with the driver's around here and that early in the morn you mighta caused a rackcident!!!!

Rode to Agua Dulce (about 30 miles) this morning with some degenerate friends for breakfast. It was about 60 at 9:30 in the morning.
