One of my customers had a wipe out on a freshly installed white line area last summer going about 5 miles an hour. His wife was hurt pretty bad as I recall and he was banged up pretty good also
My Motorcycle Safety Course instructor related his experience with the slippery white arrow. Coming around a curve doing no more than 25 mph beginning to merge onto the mainhighway he hits the white arrow and instantly the bike slips out from under him. He is sliding on his shoulder still looking for his bike when he looks up andhis Road King is coming down from the sky and hits the pavement right in front of him with a tremendous crash, parts going everywhere. Somehow the RK went airborne. Heended upwith some sore ribs and bruised arm but comes out of it okay. As for the Road King, it is totaled out. He said he did everything right but the slippery white arrow ruined his day. He was on his way to administer the MSF course at a local college when this happened. Life is not fair and it is not supposed to be.
