I'm starting to get the itch for a '08 Ultra. My loan balance on my '06 Ultra is about $13K. Can any of you tell me what the trade-in value of my '06 might be? It has about 12,000 miles on it in good shape.
Just wondering. I will probably just keep it but was wondering if I am upside down on the deal. Thanks in advance for your input.
When I had the numbers run back in August, mine, with 18,000 miles, was blue booked at $14, 500 trade in. Retail was around $18,000. Accessories mean nothing on trade in, so take off what you can use on the new one before you trade.
I would think you would have at least a couple thousand equity in your bike and that is low mileage. If I was you I would keep it but only you can make that decision.

Thanks folks. I will probably hang on to it for a while...
Probably a good idea for now. This is not a good time to be trying to trade in Harleys given the current sales slump. However, if you want to get a more realistic idea of what your bike may be worth, check out eBay and see what the actual bids on similarly equipped Ultras. (Ignore the opening price or "Buy It Now" prices - they mean nothing.)
Think I would keep it , especially with all the over heating and tranny rumors going around about the 07/08's . Wait awhile and let HD's current designs prove themselves .
