I have a what appears to be a ding/ scratch in my rear fender. clear coat is still intact but seperated from paint, Do i try to remove the clear just in the scratch and fill with clear then sand n polish or sand the area and air brush wit clear and polish, any help would be great thanks

and last weekend my tank cap started leaking again but this time it is only the clear coat so I am going to wet sand it down and then use a soft cut rubbing compound and then shoot 3 coats of clear over it
