Guilty as charged...most of the time riding with my wife i come up with what i think are credible revelations, and almost every time i get the "you are freaking weird" look.
Funny but true story. My wife and I asked this very question to a forest ranger a few years ago, while we were vacationing in the Colorado Rockies. He was about to retire after many years in the Forest Service.
His response:
"We're moving to Florida. I'm sick and tired of snow, trees, tourists and traffic".
I asked him if he'd ever been to Florida. He responded "nope, but our daughter lives there and we want to be near her".
I just didn't have the heart to tell him what he might be getting himself into.
I shook his hand, wished him good luck and walked away.... almost blown away by his answers.
