OK. I orderd some helmets from a company called www.helmetsetc.com . I paid with a credit card. I also paid for next day air. Eight days later no helmets. I called the number the site gave me and it lead to a www.helmetsrus.com . The guy says he don't own the site that a guy named Mark stole that site from him and gave me his name and e-mail and number. I called the guy three times, no reply. I e-mailed him twice, no reply. Finely I called him again and threatened to file charges on him. I then got an e-mail telling me how much of a crackhead the other dealer was to call the law on him. I reminded him that it was HE that I did business with and I wanted my product or money. He then proceded to blame the other guy again slandering him via e-mail. I called the police department and with a little help from internet investigations I was able to get my money back. No apologies. No nothing.
I dont know how www.helmetsrus.com are connected with www.helmetsetc.com. What I can tell you is STAY AWAY FROM WWW.HELMETSETC.COM
PS . You need to know this company was given ample opportunity to make good on his promices and failed three times.
Good to know. On a side note, I am amazed at how many people buy helmets online without ever actually wearing them. I couldn't do it, but aparantly it's common.
By purchasing with a credit card, you could have also just filed for a refund through them, for item not received. I believe the law gives you a 60 day window...Many card companies have a longer period.
I also made an order from them last year. Theyimmediatley charged my card and no helmet. I called them and some girl answered and said it was her cell phone. ?????? I got it taken off my credit card. 4 months later got the helmet it and the box was completeley crushed and destroyed. Ihad UPS return it since I didn't sign for it.
Call your credit card company and dispute the charge. The helmet company will then have two weeks to provide written proof they sent you your item. If not it will be removed from your card.

To be honest, I really don't know what this guys issue was or who owns what. All I know is one said the other stole the site and the other allegedly accused the other of selling drugs and using drugs. Now what relevance that had with Mark getting me my helmet I ordered, I haven't a clue, but after turning him into investigations, he said his wife got on to him and he would send both helmets and refund my money for the trouble. We had to call the credit card company and investigations to get my money and as to date NO HELMETS. What a bunch of alleged wackos.
They ask me if I wanted to press charges in Port orange Police Department. Im still thinking of that option. He also allegedly said he used UPS while shipping some cheap mailing company. His friend at the other site was more than willing to give me all the info I needed. LESSON LEARNED. YOU NEVER KNOW WHO YOUR ORDERING FROM ON LINE. Order from good people who have been proven to hold up to there word.

In any event, sorry to hear about your bad deal.
