A few buddies and I have gotten to the point where we can tackle the twisties pretty good. Last weekend me and my brother are coming up a road that I've never ridden before. I've got the front wheel a couple three feet from the edge of the road and I'm leaned over in a right turn pretty good. Well, the combination of a big bike, a big guy and my extended mirrors to see around my fat a$$, I found myself coming upon a mailbox while leaned over that I actually had to pull up from my lean, pass the mailbox, and lean back. The damn mailbox was like out over the road, and my mirrors and shoulders were damn near the shoulder. Was humorous. Has that happened to anyone?

AACK, I try way hard to stay clear of mail boxes here in my neck of the woods. There are several on some of the narrow'er streets, that have been hit so many times. The home owner has built up a chicken wire cage, similar to that foryer tomatoe plants.
they fill them with river rock, andafix the mail box right on top. now that would be much better than hitting a solid fixed object, but still oooo, and the wet leave's season approaches.. heh
