I used to ride my z-1 to school everyday in pocatello Idaho
Used to, a Z-1, young and school, and balmy Pocatello, is different than older, a Harley, work and responsibilities, and some place much more icy and snowbound than Pocatello. I go to southern Idaho on business all the time. Easy year round riding.

RE: Single Wheel Trailer
Two things:
1. We have friends that tow a trailer. Need room for the hair dryer, hot curlers, and enough clothes for a month long trip even though we are only going for a week. They ride a 'Wing with enough storage to carry a small elephant. Wife and I get buy with a medium sized T-bag.
2. About towing the bike. ZZ you are absolutely right! The last two Sturgis trips I towed. Can cover the 1500 miles a lot faster in the truck, and I get lots of riding in S.D. Last trip a couple of 'buddies' rode me something terrible about being a "Part time biker". The day they were getting ready to leave it was raining like hell. They actually had the ***** to ask if they could put their bikes on my trailer and ride home with me.
option number one: 7 day off from work....Head out to Daytona bike week ..lay over two days for 15 inches of snow in North and South Carolina (2004)....3 day get to Flordia 2 days riding in nice weather Head Back because I have to be at work in 2 days and hope weather dont catch me, but dang I can say Im a real Biker.....
option 2 Throw bike on trailer...be in Flordia in 14 Hours...ride 6 days in sunny weather and head home 14 hours...every one calle me a puss....
well Just call me a puss!
Hmm, well I don't think I would do that. Certainly not to your face. (Momma didn't raise any stupid FireHawks)
