has anybody here ever been to or entered in one of the teresi dyno-drags? there comin to the shreveport, La. HD dealership this weekend and i was planning on going but wasnt to sure if i wanted to pay to run my bike in the dyno drag races that they have. was wondering if it was worth the money or how accurate it is to drag race on a dyno machine. they claim its just like racing a 1/4 mile drag with all the the times and speed readings but with a horsepower and tourqe reading for each competitor
I was gonna do it years ago when they first showed up in Sturgis, but they don't have fans or anything blowing on your bike. Ain't that hard on an air cooled engine??????

I raced a buddy of mine on this machine in Daytona a few years ago and we had an absolute blast.
Steelhorse, Got the card from Shreveport HD right hear. Says free and open to the public, first come basis. (ET, top speed, HP, reaction time) Been thanking about going if weather half way desent.
they had it this past saturday. i didnt realize it was free until i got up there. there was a pretty good turn out. think i was the only night train on the dyno.
Did it a few years ago. Good times. $20 to enter, and you run your initial race 3 times. They let us run 2 times at 1/4 mile then once at 1/2 mile. I wound up winning myrace and went on to race a final round and won the 750cc class. (I was on my 94 750cc Magne at the time). I had a good time.
