Well fellow Northerners looks like its getting that time of the year again and I hate to say it but I think we are going to have to get the jackets out 36 deg for the ride work this morning..

No doubt. We are lucky here in NY that there has been a heat wave the last few weeks, but I expect some cold weather any day now. I love riding in the 50s, but once it gets to 40s and below it starts to get a bit cold . . lol. Then again, I don't use heated gear ora windshield, so I know I'm not helping myself [8D]

In Michigan the weather has been in the 70's up until today where the next 10 days highs will be in the 50's, lows in the 40's. A couple more weeks and it will be time to winterize till spring.[sm=biker.gif]

We just got our first real hard freeze. It's a little nippy in the morning, but all the bugs are dead My forks will stay nice and clean, and I won't be getting that little extra bit of protien on my rides to and from work[:'(]. Has my first 70 mile morning commute today where it was still under 40 by the time I got into work. The only thing cold were my hands. I need to figure those out.[sm=confused06.gif] Keeps me awake though.

I left for work at 4am and the wind chill was definitely felt. As I get older, I'm not able to withstand the frigid temps like I used to. I am so glad I got the HD heated gloves; though they are bulky they sure keep the hands and fingers warm!!!! Next on the list is the wrap chapsto wear under my chaps for bettercold protectionin the leg and thigh area.
