Hear yee!! hear YEEE!!!

come on now,, my first post here,,, (go search) was "Problems with 07" about 13 months ago,,,,
and we see where that went!!!!
Now,, Knobinter,,, yes my first squeeze of front brake lever, does what you say,,, only once before every ride,
I'm used to pumpin all levers before I do anything anyways, so no bother!
I have had NO throttle prob's, mine, smooth as silk!
tracks fine also..
as far as seat, well the 07 was a bit more cumfy,, but a trip to meancities for rework this winter,
will prob'y solve that.
and my rear brake started squealing rather obnoxiously also,, but so did My Wifes Honda CRV.
its the material in the pad, that causes that!
the 08 is not a bike to b-itch about,, cause over the 07, HD did their homework!!!!!!
dont sweat the little things!

Hey Pitguy! howya been?

everybody is a expert and most problems can be traced back to the bad nut holding the h-bars. name calling? ahhhh we just sit here and poke fun at others cause our ole ladies wont give us permission to ride today

I have had my 08 Ultra for a little less than 2 months and have a couple of thousand miles on it. The ABS brakes work great without any problems, the throttle has no lag, and the bike tracks just fine. No regrets and I would buy it again in a NY second. However, I think I remember reading some where that it takes a special tool, Digital Technician II, to bleed ABS Brakes.

The only issue I have with it is that sometimes when it comes time to leave a traffic light after a minute or so of idling, the throttle seems totally non-responsive and it sounds and feels like I am trying to take off in third gear or something.

I love my bike and it's great, but I've had this happen at least twice, exactly as he describes it. Have had the bike only four weeks and only 2,100 miles on it, but breaks, tracking, etc. all are excellent.

Right on, brakes need to be bled via digital tech?
It's under warranty, take it back to the dealer like right now!

So if its your first post, and your having problems with an 08 yourmost likely a troll, go figure. I got flamed when I reported my 08 issues as well. I see damage control at work here.

Don't sweat it. I wasn't called a troll on my first post, but I'm sure I've been called a lot of other names since. It it wasn't for problems, fixes and solutions, there would only be a waving forum.

My '08 EGC doesn't track straight when I take my hands off the bars either. It veers left. So did my '07 Heritage. The dealer checkd rear wheel alignment and said it was correct. I haven't had them check the '08.

No ABS problems here. I do notice that the throttle feels a bit different, but I got used to it in about 100 miles of in traffice riding.

Who has actually road tested their bikes at the dealership prior to buying? I was able to ride mine for a few miles, but from what I understand some dealerships do not actually allow you take the bike out, am I wrong?Just wondering since some folks feels that he should have been able to do that.
