Some Chippewa's are made in China or elsewhere. You can tell by the sizing. If the width is measured as narrow, medium, or wide. It's offshore. If it's C, D, E, EE etc. It's Made in USA.
Bought boots from Cruiser Works. Made in USA, no break-in required and most comfortabe boots I've ever had. I'm sure some other brands may be as good, but can't imagine them being any better.
