I have seen where some here have done it, and from what I have read, and the pics that they showed, it sure didn't seem like a big deal. But, to me, adjusting the chain isn't a big deal either.

Exactly.....I have done the chain on my 03' several times and its like a 20 min. job at the most....and thats including cleaning my tools and stuff off when done. I like the self tensioner on the 08' better of course.....but thats progress for ya!

With a cold Redneck Budweiser in the frig, a manual and a friend to help, it would be a nice day for tackling it. Shouldn't take over a hour or so to change it out.

I did it last month on an 05 Ultra. Not a big job, instructions in the HD tensoner explain everything step by step. Need foot pound torque wrench. Took me a little over an hour but I cleaned & polishedeverything before putting it back on. Just one less thing to do on a service.

Do a search here it has been posted several times with pictures.
