I, for one, have been really pleased with the first 2 Harleys I have ever owned. Sold the first one, a Sportster, to buy the Dyna only because I wanted a bike with both performance and distance comfort - and believe me, I have it now.
Some folks here have some legit gripes and want to air them out, maybe someone else has had the same trouble and will help them out with a solution.Others shout Troll! at the drop of a wrench when they don't like what you say or disagree with your right to pose a legitimate question. There are/have been Trolls about the site and they get what they deserve. I don't see yourpost asfalling into that category. IMHO & 2 cents.

Owning other bikes, forums are a magnet for issues, problems, complaints... among posts that also praise the bike. Visiting other forums I see no difference here versus forums for other bikes.

I agree. This poster really has no indication of being a TROLL. It appears to me that he is just stating what he has observed on this forum. Yes, there have been some posts that resemble what he is referring to. But there also have been some very positive posts too. As far as I'm concerned, this forum is designed for all of us to express our opinions, state facts or just vent. It's all good! Sometimes we agree, sometimes we don't. Just the nature of the beast. Personally, I've been extremely happy with all of my HD's.

If I had a proplem with my bike, believe me, this would be the first place I would come for advice. I'm not really talking about that though. I'm referring to the generalized Harley bashing that a few do. The other day it was so bad that a mod reminded everyone that this was a Harley forum, and if you didn't like it, go to another forum. Today I read some guy going on and on about how Victorys were better in every way than a Harley. Just trying to understand that mindset, that's all. And by the way, thanks for your comment.

Give the guy a break. You know what he means. He's not talking about the guy with the heat problem or the wind buffeting on a road glide. We've had a rash of trolls coming here stating "Gold Wings" are better and "Why did you spend that much money on a Harley?" I've seen them and I don't need proof from him. Me, TM, Zombie and 87lowrider went off on a bunch of them about a month or so ago. They are Trolls and will be treated as Trolls. Don't confuse a Troll with a disgruntled Harley owner. There are a few of them too but they are looking for a fix. They may be frustrated but that's what we are here for, to help them when we can, not to make fun of them because they are frustrated or new. Come on guys, let's try to play together here.

I am fairly new to this forum, but have noticed a surprising number of people post here that sing the praises of other bikes over the Harleys that they say they own. Some of these people have posts in the 100s, and some in the thousands. Discounting the idiots that sign up just to stir up sh*t because thay get aroused by doing it, I really don't understand the motivation of the others. I would never come to a Harley forum and bitch about Harleys. Wouldn't even cross my mind. If I was pissed about my bike I would bitch to the dealer, Harley Davidson, or myself for buying the wrong bike. I wouldn't come to a place where presumably most love their Harleys and bitch there. They dinagrate the styling, the sound, the lack of speed, the manuverability, the cost, and proclaim that almost any other brand of bike is much better. Why announce to 50,000 people that you just spent a sh*tload of money on something you don't even like? I really am fasinated by this. I'm just not smart enough to understand it. I'll probably get incinerated for posting this, but I'd really like to understand what would motivate people to do this, and then continue to do it for months.

I for one am completely satisfied with my 92 Low Rider. I bought it from my Brother who was the original owner. The only work I have had to do on it is replace the turn signal relay. Not bad for a 15 year old bike. It still looks and rides great. One of these day's I will learn how to put a picture of it on the forum.

Why ask why?
It's just part of the complex human equation.

I love my Harley as much as you can love a machine. Finally owning one is one of the best things that has ever happened in my life. I wouldn't go to a metric forum and bash their bikes though. Just fasinated why anyone would come here and bash Harleys. That's all there was to it. Cause I asked that particular f*cking question makes me a troll? Pretty low threshold with some around here.

Yes King,

Some very low thresholds here these days. The Admin. and Mods do not think you are a troll here.

It's an honest question.

My answer is,,,,,

(People who come here to put Harley's down do not own a Harley, THEY ARE JUST JEALOUS!)

Hey kingk9, I know where your coming from and agree with what your saying.I love everything about my bike and if I didn't I wouldn't own it. The guys who post that stuff are either stupid or liars about owning a Harley.
