I have been trying to get my wife to catch the bike bug, she has gone from not even going into a Harley store to now riding with me on the back of my Heritage. While out Sat morning at the dealership she kept looking at a 06 Deluxe, blue and white, I got a wild bug up my butt and well told her Merry Christmas! it is now in our garage and she is signed up for a Jan 12 Riders Edge class. I think she is still in shock, I am hoping she will just fall in love with it after she gets to ride it. I like the ride better than my Heritage, but she told me to stay off! Now thats just not right. You all have a great Holiday ride safe.
hi owen,
sweet way to blow her mind. there's nothing better than to have a built-in riding buddy to share the open road with. great job plugging her into the riders course, it'll do wonders to boost her confidence and teach her some great skills. needless to say you're hooked up for a good while now, eh...merry christmas to you both

RE: Xmas Gift
Outstanding Owen!
Sounds like the Brown family (us) a few years back. Wife has gone completely Harley nuts. We have been to 5 states so far and have maps for rides when summer hits. Wife also did the training course.
I think it's great when I read stuff like this.......a BIG congrats.
I'll second the other posts in regards to having your wife as a riding partner. We both have our own bike and really like it that way. There's nothing better then cruising around with your wife as your riding buddy.
This past Aug. we took a trip to Skyline Dr. in VA (that's where my signature pic was taken) and we had a blast. We've already started planning a few trips for next year.
Now that's dirty. Getting her ready to ride and buy a bike you really want? Your a genuis I'm going to try that next year. It will be fun once she on the bike. Beware women love the shop and mojority the time money is not a problem. Kudos to you and your wife.
