Have my Harley financed with Harley credit. I've gotten a little behind in my payments and ducking the reposseror untill I can get caught up. My question is if I take the bike in to have it serviced at the Harely dealership will they know Harley is looking for it and grab it for them?
some of you guys are being hard on this guy for no reason, bad things happen to good people, I'm sure he did not buy the bike with the intentions of not making a payment, if he did he would have never come hear with his problem, Although, it seems like you are probably a first payment default, this would involve the dealer, as all first payment defaults are charge backs to the dealer for all financing commissions, so you have no reason to bring it to them, if the repo man is already looking for it then it's not even safe to take the bike out in public, if you can get it into your living room this will be the only place it is safe. Best thing to do is call Eaglemark and work something out, be honest and they will work with you, they do not want the bike, if they wanted a bike they would have gone to the dealership and purchased their own brand new one. Finance companies want money period.
thats right ,a bunch of bull$h!t, how many people go to h-d credit , get a fatboy then default on the loan? tell you what daviddean,if indeed you really are behind ,give the bike back.you cant afford it!
This kind of stuff makes ALL OF US pay more for stuff in the end. One thing to have hard luck, loose a job or get sick. Another to buy an expensive MC either knowing or not caring that we cannot afford to keep our committments and just say screw everybody else and hide it.
jmo.... return the freakin' scoot, ya can't afford it... and after visiting with the men and women at the York factory... that is their scoot your ridin' until you pay for it! WTF?.....get a freakin' job and take care of your responsibilities!!
If you would spend your time working an extra job, instead of trying to figure out how to screw the finance company, you'd be able to keep the scoot & sleep better at night. Grow up & take care of your responsibilities!
