anybody here installed a tack on top of their neck ? how do you like it? visibility?

My tach is same place as police bikes,above the handle bar mount,the perfect spot for it.Especially banging the gears tucked in,the tach is in your face.

You know I never even think twice about it, but both of my bikes have a tach, and I wouldn't have it any other way. On my SE-Deuce they mounted the tach just above the bar clamp, and on my Street Glide....well you know where that one is. I dont know, but I guess coming from a sport bike background, I have always had a tach on my bikes. I have a tach in my Ford Bronco. For me its just another tool to gauge to monitor your engine. The only other place I would think would not be too awkward for a tach would be right in the speedo on the console...I know HD sells a speedo/tack combo that looks sort of cool.....other than that I guess you would have to just go on the bar clamp like this.
